Welcome to Browseajob.com | An independent jobsite listing both contract and permanent full time and
part time job opportunities in England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland,
Republic of Ireland, Channel Islands, USA, Canada, Australia and New
Zealand. | Our aim is to bring together the job vacancies from both job agencies and
direct employers and show them all in one place, making the job search as
convenient as possible for people looking for a new job. | If you're already
a member (both recruiters and jobseekers), please login using the login form
above the navigation menu. If you are a jobseeker and you would like to
register, please click on the jobseekers button in the navigation menu and
fill in the form. Similarly, recruiters (both job agencies and direct
employers) can join by clicking the recruiters button. | To browse job
vacancies by industry sector, please click on the links above. Clicking on
the top level category will open up the subcategories and the job search
results for that category will be listed, you can click on the job links to
view the details and apply if you wish. Please remember that this
search will return all of the job opportunities entered in that category,
regardless of location. | Searching in the job ads - You don't need to fill
in all of the boxes in order to use the search form. Entering text in the
"Job Title" box will only search in the job title field of the job ad. You
can enter multiple words in this field. Similarly, entering text the "Job
Description" box will only cause a search for that text in the job
description section of the adverts, again you can enter multiple words in
this field. The "Salary" box is used to search for jobs greater than or equal to the salary that you enter.
On the text fields please don't
enclose multiple word phrases in quotes, the database will not return any
results if the phrase is in quotes even if there is are matching jobs
available. The "Category" list contains only the top level categories. When
you select a category the site will automatically search the related sub
categories. The "Location" list is in the following order, England,
Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland, Repulic of Ireland, Channel Islands, USA,
Canada, Australia and New Zealand. Please scroll down the list until you find
your country. | You do not need to register in order to apply for a
job listed on this site. However, if applying as a guest, please remember to
attach your cv/resume to your job application! | | Jobseekers - why use and register with browseajob.com? | 1) All job ads are fresh,
the maximum that an ad can be on the site is 3 months before the recruiter
must refresh it. Jobs older than 3 months that are not refreshed are not
displayed.
2) By joining up and setting your profile to
"public", you can let recruiters find your cv/resume and get "headhunted"!
You can set your profile to private at any time so that your details are non
searchable. It's a well known fact that recruiters only advertise jobs if
they can't find a suitable candidate in the database. By making your details
searchable, you will reduce the amount of competion for any vacancies that
you are selected for.
3) If you don't have a cv/resume, join and
create one for free using our cv/resume creator.
4) You can upload upto 3
versions of your cv/resume to use in your applications.
5) A powerful
search agent will notify you by email of any jobs that meet your criteria.
6) The site keeps records of the jobs that you have applied for meaning that
you don't waste time re applying for jobs that you've already applied for.
7) See statistics of how many times recruiters have viewed your profile.
8) Job applications are done within the site and so the site holds messages

1) Easy to use admin centre within the site.
2) The site supports sub accounts, so you can register staff underneath
your account and restrict their functionality, this is particularly useful
for large organisations.
3) There is a full search capability for jobseeker cv/resumes.
4) You can add, modify and delete or deactivate/activate your job ads at any
time, there is also a statistics feature that shows how many times an ad has
been shown to the site's visitors.
5) We don't delete your job ads when they expire, they are saved and you
have the option to renew them.
6) You can upload jobs in bulk via a csv file direct from your own database.
7) There is the option to make your ad featured on many pages in the site,
including the front page. Additionally, featured ads are displayed with a
yellow background and appear at the top of the search results.
8) If you choose to upload your banner, it will be displayed for free at the
top of the page that details each of your ads, helping to build your brand.
9) All new job ads are distributed accross the internet via RSS as well as
being displayed on this site.
10) Job applications are sent within the site, meaning that your email inbox
isn't full of cv/resume's, you are free to download the cv/resume of
applicants who have responded to your ad and also respond to them using the
site's internal email system.
11) For a fee, you can upload a banner to the site home page, job search and
job apply pages that can be either linked to a list of all of your vacancies
on the site, or to your own website. |
