recruiting skilled temporary Relief Assistant Managers to work at various Care Homes within the
Plymouth area.
style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial; mso-bidi-font-weight: bold;">As a Relief Assistant
Manager you will be responsible in consultation with the Manager for the day-to-day operation of a
Unit and its staff when on duty, in accordance with plans
style="font-size: 11pt; font-family: Arial;">As a Relief Manager you will be required to support the
unit manager by managing and participating in the activities of the unit when on duty according to
the business plan & operational policies & procedures for the service.
Ideally
you will hold an NVQ 4 in Health & Social Care and/or a Registered Managers award, have
management experience within care. It is essential that you are proficient in dealing with
medication.
General duties to include:

- Ensuring that care plans for
individual service users are being completed and requirements are being met.

36.0pt;">Supervision of Support and Domestic
staff.
- Implementing
administrative and other procedures where necessary.

necessary.

pressure.
- Good inter-personal and
communication skills.
- Excellent
supervisory skills.
- Ability to

- Ability to design/implement and evaluate
programmes in accordance with identified needs.

candidates are subject to an enhanced CRB disclosure. Recent Manual Handling, Health & Safety
and Safeguarding Adults training are desirable, however Common Induction Standard training and
specialist training will be provided free of charge.
